On September 11, 2007, Kenny Chesney released Just Who I Am: Poets & Pirates to the American audience. It was his 11th album release since the start of his career. A week before its release, it was speculated that part of the album was leaked onto several Internet websites. Despite the possible leak, Kenny Chesney's new album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 chart. When the first week came to a close, his newest album made history by earning the title of best weekly sales of any country album since the Dixie Chicks' Taking the Long Way of 2006.

As time progressed, two hit singles off the new album, "Never Wanted Nothing More" and "Don't Blink," climbed the charts in 2007. Currently, fans can hear his third single release, "Shiftwork."

Other tracks on the album include "Just Not Today," "Wife and Kids," "Got a Little Crazy," "Better as a Memory," "Dancin' for the Groceries," "Wild Ride," "Scare Me" and "Demons."
